Sussex Printing Projects: A Recent Showcase
With many printing projects on the go at once, sometimes it’s good to stand back and take a look at some of the recent local organisations we’ve worked with to bring their visions to life. Below are just some of the projects we’ve worked on over recent months, and there’s everything from tickets to vinyl signage…
BPA Park Mark
The Park Mark scheme, overseen by the British Parking Association on behalf of Police Crime Prevention Initiatives Ltd, rewards well-managed car parks with certification to reassure motorists that the place they’ve chosen to leave their car is a wise decision. An assessor from the police is responsible for awarding Park Mark based on a set of safety criteria.
This Haywards Heath based parking association approached Action Press for a 3000 brand new vinyl signs, complete with their updated logos for ‘Park Access’ accreditation and the ‘Plus’ parking which include green initiatives, and design. While many businesses use us for their paper goods, we’re always excited to demonstrate our prowess on vinyl too, which is part of our large format printing service.
South of England Agricultural Society
The South of England Agricultural Society holds events at Ardingly Showground between Crawley and Haywards Heath, and are attended by thousands from across Sussex and beyond. All things agricultural, rural, and equestrian are celebrated through displays, races, stalls, and live entertainment across several weekends a year.
It’s a privilege for us to be involved in these highly anticipated events. Action Press are responsible for printing Ardingly Showground invites, tickets, wallets, posters, all in preparation for their big events this year. For example, the Spring Live show is complete, with the South of England Show in June fast approaching. Then, we move onto the Autumn Show & Horse Trails in September, and the Winter Fair in November. There’s always something on the horizon!
Caravan and Motor Home Club
The Caravan and Motor Home Club is a membership organisation based in East Grinstead for those who love to see the world from their very own home on wheels. It offers campsite access, special offers on activities, and a community for those with leisure vehicles; it even has its own festival, ClubFest, a 4-day camping festival held amongst beautiful countryside.
It’s ClubFest that we’re excited to have been recently involved with, having been tasked with printing ClubFest tickets, as well as vehicle pass hangers for caravan and motorhome owners to proudly display whilst in attendance.
Natural Fit
With two sites in Tunbridge Wells and Hove, Natural Fit is a destination for those committed to their health and wellness. These health clubs, based in two stunning buildings, offer gym facilities, fitness classes, and spas; a full suite of top-of-the-range equipment, a friendly, knowledgeable team, and a calendar bursting with classes await members.
Natural Fit required 100,000 leaflets printed to promote awareness of wellbeing and fitness at their studios; and we were only too happy to oblige! Printed leaflets work so well for physical premises like these, and we’re proud to be a part of this thriving businesses’ advertising strategy.
Alexander Rose Garden Furniture
Sitting in the garden is one of life’s simple pleasures; relax, enjoy the fresh air, and listen to a little bird song if you can. The furniture you do this on can make or break the experience; Alexander Rose ensures you’ve always got somewhere stylish and comfortable to take a seat outside. Offering a whole range of luxury garden furniture, Alexander Rose transforms patios across the country with outdoor sofas, benches, loungers, dining tables, and chairs.
Alexander Rose’s Burgess Hill head office required this year’s catalogues in readiness for a busy summer season; we set to work on completing these catalogues to aid the sales of quality timber, metal and weave furniture available in garden centres across the country.
CAE
CAE does the important (and cool) job of providing simulator software and training to both commercial and military pilots, operating from Burgess Hill. Their focus is using technology to make both civil and defence aviation safer, empowering all airline staff to provide a secure and high-quality experience.
Action Press were pleased to be approached for a range of printing requirements for CAE; this included aircraft training manuals, numerous business cards, and other posters that they require regularly.
Local history books
This is a project we just love; printing and delivering local history books for Sussex based societies. Our county is so rich in heritage, and it’s a privilege to immortalise it in print. We learn a fair bit too! Some societies that we’ve worked with most recently include Burgess Hill History Society, Balcombe History Society, and Lewes History Group.
